Fracturing Everything

We are talking with the other voices talking, We are crowded, I am here, I am here The air is something words can travel on, The current shifts the tone, sometimes The language isn’t mine, I find I lose you Somewhere in there with all those words And meanings, tones and feelings What just happened? What just happened? The air is dense and crowded, the sky abruptly clouded Where did you come from? Dusk and dawn and dusty, desert skies, I am the centre of the storm, the letters swarm, collide, And fix themselves together I changed the weather Nothing makes sense I am here, I am here Is it real

Bread 03:41
I am the underwater king of one current, Hear me echo down to nothing. Hear me cry, "My people, cometh! Eat my body, fill your stomachs!" I am patron saint of clicks, Why does nothing ever stick? Why are my people so ungrateful? Eat my body have a plateful. I am the anti-club king of low depth, Reverb my platitudes in thy breaths. I didn't interrupt my waking dead For an audience of shaking heads. Make a good song. Make a bop. Get a following. Never stop. Buy some new stuff. Get a korg. Right now, you're no bite and all bork. I am the lo-fi queen of good grain, The crops only grow in the rain. The songs write when in pain. The dog plays dead if he’s trained. I am that back in style old gum. I am that Frankenstein of no-one. I am a past trend dragging my legs, Remember me when I’m-- Make a good song. Make a bop. Get a following. Never stop. Buy some new stuff. Get a korg. Right now, you're no bite and all bork.

War On... 04:41
You can't be torn of a habit You can't reform a fascist The ground up is built on bones Of old Empire bodies and souls Everything you own is magic To the touch, everything you know Never feels enough, And what they steal from what you think you own your blood, sweat, body and home is unmatched next to the sap sucking parasite, mouth dribbling sight, oil drained from global south veins our every day un-challenging the powers at home is disdain for the exploited labour of foreign bones. Every day’s the same We’re gonna break Intervention is terrorism Prevention of national living Sanction the means to feed The workers means is a "villain" And we're just sitting at home Reading the paper they give us Going "yeah, sounds right, yeah, we oughta be killing" We oughta be sorting that mess out, it's the gift we've been given by god moral deliverance. Funny when a country brings up the literacy rate The BBC does a piece on dismantling the state It's typical when then people fight for socialism Banksy does a piece on authoritarianism Every day’s the same We’re gonna break The cycle, starting At the top, The life they beg you not to stop The money doesn’t trickle down It trickles back into their cups It trickles down into their cops Who breathe beat us to the dust Need to see a little blood. You’re either one of them or one of us They’ve got genocide on their tongue You’ve for fight left in your lungs Every troop and every cop is dirty, And guilty of a wrong Find where you belong. Fangs bared, stay strong.

Spoons 01:41
my ponderings on change are stale and lacking in the pocket, i'm biting up my tail, i'm shooting emails out to jobs, they'll take me on a part time contract i'm only part time well, i'm only half a heart this week i woke up, lost all my XP Next please, they havent got the time for me, sad, i had to waste all mine I'll be back in bed, making beats, and wishing someone got my mind. Taking me days every other, waste my energy on not crying, pendulum moods, make me wonder where the time went, it can all become so violent, but my grasp is getting better, though i'm still spending days in bed because my map of helpful places is still stained with danger red I work with what i get, i guess, i take each day in little steps my ponderings on change are stale and lacking in the pocket, I work with what i get, i guess, i take each day in little steps

Quiet Nights 02:29
I will never remember this sun So plagiarise our fading memories Flame erupts for the love of smoke Smoke brings the ghost of heat Quiet nights like this, you and me Forever Fracturing everything

about

Self-sampling, looping, sounds echoing from track to track: mimicking days and months in the same place as yesterday, struggling to break from painful routines. Fracturing Everything is genre-less collection of songs, spanning from chaotic cries for help, and buzzing synths, to explosive guitar melodies, and soft clicks; opening up about mental health, to examining the ways anti-imperialism, and anti-capitalism are necessary for any true change. Personal change, and change as a community, is possible, and always on the horizon, but it's a process that never ends.

This album took 8 months, and many meticulous changes, to finish. Fracturing Everything feels like a debut album, despite having previously released music, and showcases a style, sound, and voice that I'm going to develop from here. There's a little bit of everything in this, so I hope listeners can find something that appeals to them in it, and I always want to hear what you think.
